Hey guys!! Just dropping a note to say that we love you both. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to us here at the station. You have both FAR exceeded any of our expectations and desires! We wouldn't have been able to put together desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc without your help! Thanks for all the dedication and support. Love you guys!

Greetings to the family of KBDE, It was a shock when I heard Joel announce that The Journey was taken off the air. And here are the reasons I was shocked, mesmerized and sad: 1. I always applauded KBDE for being a radio station that looks for the best interest of all its listeners. Taking The Journey off the air will effect a vast amount of listeners (ever since The Journey is not on the air I barely listen to KBDE since the only genre of music I listen to is Southern Gospel). 2. The only radio program I recommended (as a Hispanic Pastor here in town) in my whole life was The Journey. It was a program that had not only a good purpose but a Biblical one: "for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" Ephesians 4:12. The Journey did all of the above. 3. The Journey was a program that moved me to worship God, lifted my spirit, and "snapped" me out of the daily routine to meditate in God and His Word. It was not just the songs played but the testimonies and the Bible verses shared by Joel that made The Journey so special. In a few words, I would and I will, if necessary, put my name on The Journey any time and anywhere. KBDE, whatever your decision is or will be, do not forget Colossians 3:23, 24 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to The Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of The Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

I am lost without The Journey on the air...It was what inspired me in my walk with the Lord...It kept me uplifted, excited and each day was a new day with songs so powerful and Joel, you just had a way of making everyone smile no matter where they are or what they were going through...You touched so many lives. I have talked to so many people who are just in tears, and just devastated that southern gospel is no longer a part of their daily life anymore...They loved The Journey so much...You just have to get back on the air...Music just brings me so close to our Lord...and now, what do I do? Im not a talk radio fan...Your in my prayers. I know He has a plan for your and Tami...I miss you both!!!

I was disappointed when I tuned in to 89.9 at 3:00 only to find NO SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC!!!. The talk show will not cut it. I enjoyed listening to the southern gospel music while working in my shop and will really miss the personal testimonies from Joel while on the air. I will also miss the information pass on to us about upcoming gospel groups and concerts in our area. SO - BOTTOM LINE -- WHAT'S IT GONA TAKE TO GET YOU BACK ON THE AIR??? Rick

I am VERY disappointed they took The Journey off the air! What would it take to get it back because we need the southern gospel music in our area and not another talk program. May God bless you and Tammi.
